About the Red Shed: The Red Shed Bike Shop (RSBS) is a community-based bike shop started by the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council (WRWC) in 2009. You can’t miss this 30 foot, bright red shipping container, located at Riverside Mills Part on Aleppo Street in the Olneyville neighborhood!
Run by our shop mechanic, Dave Zacher, the RSBS provides bike maintenance and repair workshops for local youth at no cost, bike repairs by our Bike Mechanics at low cost, cheap rentals, and used bikes for sale. Revenue from rentals, sales and repairs help us keep the shop open in this underserved community and help us increase bike use on The Fred Lippitt Woonasquatucket River Greenway, which includes Providence’s only paved off-road bike path.
